Here you can find Sun's COO (Jonathan Schwartz) arguing, in small part, that Red Hat's inclusion of a Java application server creates OS lock-in for IBM customers. This makes me smile.

Regarding IBM's Novel/Suse alternative, Jonathan asks, "... but where else does IBM go?". Um, here?
